DL Does Well

DL looks rather good in today's WSJ survey/story.

Sorry, but if one side of an issue can be argued, surely the other side should be voiced. In the sky miles changes 2014 thread, MANY directly State or imply that.

I agree with Bubbashow. It doesn't affect me because I'll just pay for the business class seat and become a higher value customer. Although if they fill it with a nonrev party that would piss me off.

Yea, yea man. Me and all my nonrev buddies are gonna come up front with our pinatas and balloons! Better watch out it's gonna be CRAZYYYY! Patron and jello shots, bro. That's what I do when I fly with my nonrev pals, get lit and cause a ruckus!!

I usually wear a shirt that says NRSA in giant letters too, and a nice neon yellow, so you can easily spot me.

Good to see DL getting good press, but I continue to be bewildered by why DOT complaints and bumps are included in these sorts of rankings given how incredibly rare they are. The complaints, especially, could be materially moved with minimal effort by a one or two people. They are meaningless metrics and shouldn't be given equal weight to the others.

Good to see DL getting good press, but from the tone of the article, I'm honestly unsure whether DL is doing well, or everyone else is just being unspeakably horrible.

But it does make me wonder whether transitioning over the last couple years from DL as first choice and UA as second choice to the other way around was a good idea...

I guess it's like being in a traffic jam - if the next lane is moving faster, as soon as you get into it, the lane you were in before will move faster.

People who NRSA in the front are generally dumb idiots who will never go anywhere in life; however, there are many who NRSA who are completely the opposite and are truly outstanding individuals. Nevertheless, we generally focus on the dumb idiots (me included) who are very unelite. I wish those who don't deserve to even be on an airplane didn't spoil the NRSA opinion for all those who treat it with great dignity and respect.

....um.....generally people who NRSA are airline employees, their families, and guests. So flight attendants will never go anywhere in life? The pilot who commands a 747 and makes 275,000 a year will never go anywhere? The MBA manager from ATL who makes well into the six figures and manages one of the highest netting airlines ever will never go anywhere? Asinine.

I hope you know I was being factious, but I do think it's interesting your views on FC vs NRSA . Either way you shouldn't take things I say seriously. Everyone, including paying PAX can have a bad reputation I was just showcasing how some view "NRSA" parties.

I think that Delta is basically just doing what we pay it to do, competently, and the other airlines are either evil or incompetent. For what it's worth, United was my primary airline during 2001-11, and I switched back to Delta after United's post-merger deterioration, which was pretty extreme. I've been very satisfied with Delta since my return. Lots of ordinary flights, and a handful of noteworthy good experiences. No disasters.
