Delta Please Fix It Thread

Have you ever wanted to know that Delta just fixed something you reported was broken, more so than you wanted to be thrown a few compensatory miles and a canned "thanks for your feedback" response?

This thread (maybe one day sticky or wiki?) is about posting something that's broken and (hopefully) getting Delta to consistently read this, fix the problem, and report back here.

A few rules: only post concrete tangible and specific things that can be fixed by Delta. For example: "the IFE on bird 123 on 12/20 kept going in slow motion every 5 minutes for 10 seconds on 12/20" or "the right shower in the main DTW SkyClub has a low pressure problem".

Examples of general things that should NOT be posted here (since they're already known elsewhere) might include "please fix the award calendar" or "please give the new Global Upgrade certs to PMs also" or "please add a SkyClub in DEN since it's the 5th busiest airport in the country".

Delta Please Fix It Thread

Here goes with Problem #1:

Delta, please fix the low pressure problem in the Main A DTW SkyClub, specifically but not necessarily limited to the right (handicapped) shower.

The shower line was 2 hours long today (12/22) and you'd shave that time a bunch if people could get the soap off their bodies more quickly. While you're at it, consider adding more showers at DTW if this waiting time issue is consistent.

Delta Please Fix:
[email protected] email address typically bounces back, odd that the email address to fix things is, well, broken

I hand-wrote an actual letter to the FA addressed to the "maintenance crew of DL flight XXX" that expressed discontent at the fact that once again, I was sitting in a seat (in F) with power ports that did not work. I am sure this is just bad luck on my part but frankly I"m getting sick of it since it's sold as a benefit. Working electronics and IFE should be fixed during daily maintenance..period.

To top it off, one of the FA's on the plane was a total snatch when I reported it (nicely) and the other went out of her way to get my phone charged (She ended up finding an empty EC seat) and plugged my phone into its power port and then paid special attention to me the whole flight (even though, again I was nice/polite about the whole situation).

I ended up writing a "JWD" for the nice FA to counter my polite but firm letter about non-working electronics being a regular occurrence on many of my domestic flights.
