If flight aware is making assumptions on delays based on live flight tracking or departure delays for the aircraft, that's one thing. If they are accurately predicting gate changes then I suppose the brain implant theory is worth pursuing.
I don't think flightaware is making predictions at all, probably just getting some data from ATC or airports.

On the ground, I use a combination of the DL tools, flightaware.com, and flightstats.com for info on upcoming flights.
Just go to google and type in "DL" followed by your flight number, it will have the same information as Flight Aware and you don't have to pay for GoGo to use it.

Doesn't google require GoGo? I know you can get into delta.dumb and IIRC Amazon without paying.

At least it's easy to see if there is a scar on his head....

Oh dear, I think you're really on to something.

After this thread I tried to check our ATL arrival gate on the app prior to departure, just to see if it would be same or different from what a friend texted us it would be, but couldn't get the app to load once on board so I gave up...still having trouble w it, in fact.

Just tested on my flight today. If you go to google.com you will be redirected to the gogo site. However, on my ipad if on the address bar I just put in DL5734 or whatever your flight number is it will take you to the google search results page which shows you the flights progress and gate information.
