Question EC international differences

Looking at booking a trip next spring to Europe,
Wife will be in Biz, need lie flat for her since she has back issues, however I'm looking at EC for myself
since i'm too cheep to buy 2 seats in Biz.
Is KLM any different than DL in EC?
Did fly AF prem voyager a year ago and think its a bit overrated for the $
Looking for suggestion or recommendation.
Thanks in advance...

While DL offers lie flat seats on many flights, LHR is the one TATL guaranteed for lie flats. Look for 1-2-1 configurations in the J cabin.

I do not think KL's seats are fully flat seats, but the angled seats (like the old NW business seat).

As far as EC, I think KL has slightly more room. For pics, details, etc. on EC, see: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta...t-seating.html
