Nice! I was on AF23, the 4:45pm departure on the A330. I was supposed to be on AF11 the night before, though.
I was in Y, then at the gate I asked if there were any upgrades available (after flying LGA-MSP-SLC-ATL-LGA in Y in the preceding 26 hours, I was willing to pay for one!) and they said I was already reseated in prem econ :) That's when things got really interesting... once I'm in my seat the gate agent comes and asks my seatmate if he's Bob. He's not so he says no. I see a boarding pass that says 1J so I tell him I can be Bob if he wants. He laughs and walks away. Five minutes later he returns and asks if I'm Josh. Bob is a GM and was in 1J. I'm Josh and I was in 1K :D I will say that AF treats FOs better than DL does. -J. |

Clear 6 for 6 LAX-SFO flights earlier this year. Other than that, been all goose eggs for me.
Was 4/5 of LAX to MIA. 17/25 MIA-ATL and 14/32 ATL-LAX. I've found if I stay west of the Mississippi I am pretty much 100% on UG's - go east and it is back of the bus for me. To be honest though, 10A on the 76Q isn't a bad seat. Almost rather have that than F to be honest. Have another SFO trip coming up soon as well as LAX-MCO-ATL-LAX and LAX-ATL-RDU-ATL-LAX. We'll see how those go for me. Hoping to hit GM here soon so we'll see how much that helps my UG's. Will be PM by June, so life should get much better by then. :D |
