While I'm not defending Delta in this case, as a 1M, I would imagine you're experienced enough to know that airplanes (and pretty much any other artificial and natural environment humans exist in) can have unpredictable temperatures. When you can't easily leave the environment, you prepare yourself - wear layers, and bring a jacket/sweater.

Did you try to complain to the FA? Often, they can do something about it...

I'm sure if you complain to Delta, you'll get some miles out of it... I just did my first MR over the weekend, and "unfortunately", I have absolutely nothing to complain about....(no extra miles for complaining) :-)

I couldn't agree more. I've been on too many like that this year. My most recent flight had heat on in the cabin twice taking off from a 90 degree day. That was after freezing the place out twice. The air above only puts out stuffy fan air most of the time.

Darn it, there went my suggestion of rolling the window down...

Just got off the MSP-SLC bus.
Same thing, hot and sticky. vinyl seats don't help the matter either.
Last week from STL to MSP the A/C was broken as it has been on at least one other flight this summer.

So yes, it has been very hot in these planes lately

Just close your eyes and make believe you are on a KE flight. Those are always hot.
