Yes, we are hoping too, as we fly out of SFO quite a bit. Wasn't one there when we flew out last Sunday (the 7th), but wasn't expecting one. I was told in June they were shooting for 13 July, so the Sky Club folks saying the 15th sounds in line with that.

Flying out Jul 16th, I only hope. Let's see if the gov can actually keep a promise of Jul 15th.

Checkpoint guys today insisted that PreCheck starts Tuesday (July 16). They continue to be extremely excited about not having to grope us as much anymore.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I actually recognize the TSA folks at SFO, including the ones that do the pat-downs. I bet they are as happy as we will be to have Pre-Check open.

Yes--you are right. I started the thread and would gladly have the MODERATORS change the title of the thread. It was a Bummer, but fortunately, as of today, that is no longer the case.

WOOHOO! ^^^
Now for the bonus question: Is it still worth me finishing my CLEAR registration when I'm out there next week? It's the free 6-month Visa Signature trial, so I'm inclined to just do it for the heck of it, especially since I already did the first half and just need to get my eyeballs scanned. But with Pre in place, is there actually any point?
I rarely fly through any of the other CLEAR airports except MCO, which also has a DL Pre line.
