No Dancing Deer :(
On a flight last Thurs, dinner had the cold chicken sandwhich in FC and saw that the Brownie was not Dancing Deer, but a Nabisco OREO brownie. I asked the FA if this was a change and she had no clue.
When I read the package on the Oreo it was 310 calories
. I don't know if the Blond Bar from Dancing Deer was as bad but at least for that one it was worth it

This would be a sad downgrade if true, although my feelings are mixed. It seems that the vast majority of my flights this year had the peanut butter brownie, which I find to be pretty gross.

Had DD on Mon and Wed to/from MSY. Was interesting but not overly impressive.

On my Friday lunch time flight out of DTW the dancing deer bar was missing and was replaced by a packet of Biscoff cookies. Same exact package that is in the snack basket. I wonder if they might be phasing out the DD for something else.

I took a bite of one, then decided to save the rest in case I didn't have time to grab breakfast before my flight the next morning. Stuffed the open package in my purse and forgot about it. Swapped out purses for a few weeks. Last week (3 weeks later), I decided to use that purse. I came across the remains of the DD brownie. Scarily enough, it was still moist and pliable, even after being open for three weeks--and no sign of mold. Makes me wonder exactly what's in them
