No Dancing Deer :(

On a flight last Thurs, dinner had the cold chicken sandwhich in FC and saw that the Brownie was not Dancing Deer, but a Nabisco OREO brownie. I asked the FA if this was a change and she had no clue.

When I read the package on the Oreo it was 310 calories . I don't know if the Blond Bar from Dancing Deer was as bad but at least for that one it was worth it :D

:D

I flew SLC/ATL a week ago yesterday, and got the DD Blondie Bar. I gave it to a friend, so I called him, to see if he still had it, to read me the calories, and he said - - Of all the stuff you brought me from Mexico, that was the first thing I ate! :D

DD is 290 with 16g fat. No significant difference, except in flavor!

This would be a sad downgrade if true, although my feelings are mixed. It seems that the vast majority of my flights this year had the peanut butter brownie, which I find to be pretty gross.

The Dancing Deer Peanut Butter Brownie has 250 calories.

Saw the DD today.

Take a bite and throw the other half away. Or, do what I do and drop it on the floor on purpose, this way you dont dare to eat the rest of it.

I took a bite of one, then decided to save the rest in case I didn't have time to grab breakfast before my flight the next morning. Stuffed the open package in my purse and forgot about it. Swapped out purses for a few weeks. Last week (3 weeks later), I decided to use that purse. I came across the remains of the DD brownie. Scarily enough, it was still moist and pliable, even after being open for three weeks--and no sign of mold. Makes me wonder exactly what's in them .

Wirelessly posted (beckoa's PWP wonderous device: Mozilla/5.0 (BlackBerry; U; BlackBerry 9800; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.8+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0.0.600 Mobile Safari/534.8+)

Had DD on Mon and Wed to/from MSY. Was interesting but not overly impressive.

Never really liked the DD.

On my Friday lunch time flight out of DTW the dancing deer bar was missing and was replaced by a packet of Biscoff cookies. Same exact package that is in the snack basket. I wonder if they might be phasing out the DD for something else.

Oreo sounds like an upgrade to me.
