Another Upgrade Question
I have a flight from STL to LAS with a stopover in SLC. I upgraded to first class with skymiles, but the leg from SLC to LAS was not available. They put me on the wait list on that leg. Does anyone know if I will be upgraded automatically if a seat comes open since I did this with miles and am on the waitlist? If not, should i call everyday to check & see if something did open? Thanks in advance for the advice.

You should be on the list and will clear if and when they open availability. You should not need to call.

SLC to LAS is a really short flight, is it possible that the aircraft is small and doesn't have first class?
