I have a flight from STL to LAS with a stopover in SLC. I upgraded to first class with skymiles, but the leg from SLC to LAS was not available. They put me on the wait list on that leg. Does anyone know if I will be upgraded automatically if a seat comes open since I did this with miles and am on the waitlist? If not, should i call everyday to check & see if something did open? Thanks in advance for the advice.
