Called:
Delta says no record except "0 miles XXXX date". Told me to call AMEX. AMEX says they show the miles as "Pending" but no record of them ever having been already sent over. After being on hold for 10 minutes, Agent reported that they have no idea why I did not get them; they are shown as sent over and accepted by Delta...

mine also dissapeared. anyone's NOT dissapear? what's strange is i'm pretty sure they were there this morning, until i made an award booking. I thought it subtracted the wrong amount for my award booking but it turns out it was my bonus from the Amex promo dissapearing

BounceBack (bouns - 'bak): a promotion in which Delta will Bounce the miles towards their loyal customers (for a day) and then Back to AMEX. I think it was defined in the really fine print...

my miles are gone too
add me to the list. about 5000 miles disappeared from my account last night or this morning...they were the miles that posted the other day that everyone figured were the bounceback miles.

I was just informed that someone on the DL side did not code something properly with the initial deposit and the miles did indeed "bounce."
The redeposit is in progress. Soon.

I saw all the posts and checked a couple hours ago and all my miles were there. Just checked again 2 minutes ago and, "poof" they have flown away.
Here I was thinking I was something special to have been able to avoid the dastardly disappearance.
