DL (and US) pricing driving me crazy...

DL (and US) pricing driving me crazy...

Need to book SFO-OSL for work at the end of the month.
US is offering this route for $887 (compared to DL's $1440ish).

Nothing like connecting through PHL AND taking a 752 from PHL-OSL ...

Yeah, I was kind of trying to not look that part in the eye. At least the first leg can be booked on Contited (or Uninental, if you prefer ).

You gotta pay dearly for the AF or KL outrageous connect flight.

If one believes open markets effectively process relevant information, the market's saying that US really does stink.

It seems to me that the AF/KL CDG/AMS-OSL flights aren't the problem. However, options are severely limited by AF/KL operated flights across the pond from US hubs, which generally price into Y even when booked as DL flight number.

The fact that I haven't yet booked the ticket and waiting for US to sell out of their low fares would seem to support this idea
