I'm departing BWI this morning on #7263 (DC-9-50) thru DTW, to ATL on #1108 (B-777), arriving about 4:30 pm. Will head to the SC. Booked a room at the Doubletree, the departing Sunday afternoon to BWI. All UG's cleared!. Look forward to meeting everyone.

And hello from gate B76 at IAD where DL 1407 scheduled 1212 PM is delayed about 1.5 hours. No internet connection and no lounge. If they are realy going to give the DCA slots, IAD will be important to those of us who work in No Va and it will be incumbent on DL to do something about that unless it wants to abandon its Washington travelers.

Well, I'm still sitting in the DTW World Club; DL 1108 has gone from 2 pm on time to 3:30 dep to 4:30 dep. I assume it's acct weather in ATL and ATC holds. I'll get there eventually, hungry & thirsty.

Well the ground stop was lifted and now enroute to ATL. ETA 315 flight 1834

Ok. Correction.... I am now delayed and will not leave MCO until 4:45. Arr ATL at 6:15 or so...
The earlier flight is now only 15 mins. Sooner.... Time for another beer... |
