OP-UP priority on connecting flight leg?
Hi all,
I have a question regarding op-up chances on a connecting international flight. I am flying SEA-JFK-FRA. The JFK-FRA leg is oversold in Y (Y0) and chances of an op-up should be good (J9). The question is, where will I on the list? I will already get my boarding pass for the JFK-FRA leg in SEA. Will pax walking up at JFK get first dibs, while I am still in the air, so DL does not have to reassign my current seat? Or will I magically get a new boarding pass at the JFK gate depending on ticket class and SM status?
Any experience with this situation?
Thanks.
