How long before gifted status arrives
I gifted gold to a friend since he will be travelling many miles this year. Rules said 6-8 weeks I think but does anyone have experience on posting time?

I've been waiting over a month for my GM gift to post to a family member. I can understand if a Marriott certificate might take 6 weeks to arrive but I just don't get why an I.T. process would take so long. I contacted Kevin yesterday but have not heard anything yet. I know another FTer who had to get Kevin involved as well. He said it took less than a day to post.

I am also waiting for a status gift to clear for my partner. Seems to be taking a while. Sent an email to DL yesterday with no response. As CP on US, I gifted him silver DM. I made that request last night and it cleared today...
Scarey that US can do something faster than DL.......
