Change to FF ticket?
I have 2 tickets booked with miles, JFK to SLC for 2/14. I am scheduled to fly from JFK to DCA and then on to SLC arriving at 7:40pm. I want to leave earlier on that same day and hopefully arrive earlier. On previous flights with regular tickets I have been able to switch my flight within three hours of the new flight for a $50 fee.
Is this also possible with FF tickets, do I need to follow the same connection cities or can I try to find other connection combinations that will allow me to arrive at SLC earlier.
