Using Delta.dumb award calendar on availability. I'm not familiar with any other tools. KVSTool looks worthwhile but cant' download that until i'm home tonight (work PC restrictions.)

Color-coding on the award calendar shows Delta-operated flights only. If you want to see AF (and they have a lot of capacity JFK-CDG) or KLM, search by specific date, by schedule (not price). All partner inventory will be low-band awards (except some HA, which can also be medium).

Beyond delta.com, search by phone or with ExpertFlyer for:

Alitalia (AZ) JFK-Rome (13x weekly flights seasonally)

Alitalia JFK-Milan

Air Europa (UX) JFK-MAD 4x weekly (also with some seaosnality_

AZ and UX are not award-bookable at delta.com; call.

Search AF/KLM on delta.dumb or the partner web site? The latter asks me to login with my flyingblue account. I don't have one. how does that work? Sorry i'm a complete newb when it comes to booking award travel on skyteam partners..

And searching delta.dumb by sked seems to only give me DL metal..

Thx

Try to find 2 low tier business class DTW to SIN, please helps

Hello,

I tried to use the trick at the first post to find two low mileage business class ticket from DTW to sin in mid Jun 2013 and return mid July 2013.

All i can find is one route trip ticket for 120,000 miles (business)
Anyone know the trick better or that is it..
or I can purchase one ticket first then wait ..
if possible same route will shows for low mileage as well.
Since I am travel with young kid, he will need to travel with me.

Just realised that is 150$ for changed fees. ;(

Any advise will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Coco

It costs you nothing to sign up for a Flying Blue account, and you don't need any miles in your account to search.

For travel to Asia, you want to check partners that aren't on DL.dumb. CZ has amazing availability on their A380 out of LAX, so you might look at DTW-LAX-CAN-SIN. You should be able to search LAX-CAN and CAN-SIN using the FlyingBlue engine.

I thought there was currently no availability of TATL AF flights.

So even if AF.com shows availability, it may not be available to DL members?

Apparently there is some availability way out (like June 2013).

Tried June 22 and July 13, SFO-CDG one-way.

Nothing.

How do I use Delta miles on KLM website?
I assume I used KLM.com to search for low mile flight, but how do I book it?

Do I need to call Delta and make the reservation over the phone?

Edit: I figure use the KLM.com to search low mileage flight and do the multiple cities search on Delta.com, right?

Not having much luck finding any biz awards LAX-HNL....I know I know, seeking the unicorn of redemptions. I have been checking for months now and not once has anything popped up.

Am I right in assuming this scrooge-like behaviour is the accepted norm for flights to HNL?

Nothing.
Two dates does not - even remotely - constitute a thorough search. One could check the entire month of July with ExpertFlyer in three minutes, and set flight alerts for every AF SFO-CDG flight for that period in fifteen minutes.

Last year I could find a smattering of low level DL flights available here and there, but this year has been zero. I live in Hawaii and can't get a single low level award to the mainland with my DL miles.
