1000 mile promo if you "Book on Delta.com", why would it work for me and not my wife?

1000 mile promo if you "Book on Delta.com", why would it work for me and not my wife?
I just got an invitation for this promotion:

Oddly, the promo registration worked for me but not for my wife's Skymiles number. Why would that be? Our flying patterns are nearly identical, we're both PE. Lately she's been doing more booking and flying, could that be it?

PE with 107k / 103 segments this year...and it worked for me.
majority of my bookings have been on nwa.com
only 2 or 3 have been on delta.com
weird stuff...
maybe they are herding us to delta.com?
