For the love...it is a maximum four-hour flight. Is it REALLY that big of a decision? Is a hot or cold meal REALLY the deal breaker? It is four hours of your life.

Its a completely legitimate question- not sure if you are aware, but the 320 and 757 are much different aircraft and BE seating vs. non-BE is a big deal on a 4 hour flight. Not sure why you are posting if you only have nasty comments.

I am fully aware. In the last 7 days, I have traveled in the F cabins of 319, 320, 757 (NW), 757 (DL), 767-300, E175, 737-800, and an MD90. Give or take, they were all essentially the same....a leather seat - some had IFE, some didn't. I just don't understand the huff over four hours on a plane and what type of F class seat it will have. 14 hours...yes, makes a difference. I think a 320 is nice, I think a 757 is nice, I think an MD90 is nice. It really is JUST a seat.

That's really good that you see it as a seat, but it makes a difference for some people. For example, I am tall, so flying 757 F vs. MD88 F is hugely different. I also have a demanding job, so having WiFi is also important.

While you may not have discriminating needs when flying, it doesn't mean others are in the same boat.

Jumpseat is a seat too.

Got and EUA for 6 days out, but only show either row 1 or 4. Any tips on this domestic flight for seating between row 1 and 4?
You can go to airliners.net and look up the pictures using their awesome photo search engine. I ALWAYS check this site when I'm deciding which First Class is better on which specific planes.

P.S. I have flown FC from JFK-LAX on a DL763 and have flown FC from SAN-MSP on the NW757 and the 757 definitely beats the DL763. Too narrow, and the 763's FC really doesn't even look like a FC--more like a "premium economy" if you ask me.

Yeah, but let me take a guess: you were upgraded on all these seats, right? I know you didn't pay outright for each and every single FC seat on each one of those flights now did you? Well the OP stated that he was PURCHASING his FC seats, and that's a good enough reason to be picky IMO.
