to best address the incongruent metrics and please the most people, delta should switch to a dual-tiered system whereby members may qualify on the new eqm system you desceibe OR rdms at higher tiers (ala AA). the multiplier used for thr rdm tiers could reflect the value difeerence between eqms and rdms to the airline's bottom line.
