Want to know everything there is to know!
Well Im organising my birthday in cuba with some girlfriends.
We want good accomodation preferably in a typical stunning cuban property.
also want advice on the birthday party (probably at the copa or somewhere)
also as 6 people should we hire a couple of cars or get special transport.
we will probably be leaving the majority of our luggage in CUN for the 5 days we are in cuba.
should we spend more time in havana or go to the outskirts.
I have been searching and googling but havent realy come up with the right answers.

cuba advice
greetings
just saw your post on cuba... first time going there i assume? anyways, first thing about cuba that i've exprienced is that it is 100 % safe. second, don't take american dollars to convert to the "convertable peso", if possible take euros (safest bet!).
is you are only planning of being there for 5 days and will remain stationary (i.e. only stay in havana, varadero, etc..) then don't rent a car. the # to know is 555-5555 (seriously!) and that connects you to anything you want, including a taxi service, which in havana works beutifully, and if you are going with 6 other people than it is going to be very cheap.
there is plenty to see and do in havana, and remember the island is very long, so driving from like havana to guantanamo may not be the best idea, unless if you have like 2 weeks or longer. if you want the ultimate beach experiance than go to varadero (from there you can always get into a tourist bus that takes you to havana for the day).
let me know if i can help you further
