Heres an thought-
So, I had this random thought:
I don't know if this is legal or not, and so I am not stupid enough to try, but what if you had two people with some kind of points affiliated credit card, (like the American Express aeroplan cards), and you had them rack up points from one another by transferring 1000 dollars back and forth between the two of them. Surely that can't be legal right? Or maybe you don't collect points for payments to personal bank accounts or something. Anyone know?
Anyways, I had a good laugh about the idea, and maybe a wistful sigh about it also.

most cards don't give anything for moving money across them on the consumer level (i.e. balance transfer). in fact, most cards now charge 3% or even as high as 5% for that privilege.
if you want to actually process them as CC transactions, you'll be losing that much every exchange.
