Did that work for 90 points or was it 100K points. I do have 100-200 that I can use? I assume this ticket is first class. Does that work for cancelling the ticket etc (will they book a ticket in F?)

Try Keywest to Fresno city pair, play with months and dates to find the right price.

This was business class (cannot book F), found on Expedia search, 90K points, as 7.5% excise tax gets subtracted from base price, keeping it under $1800 limit. You pay the excise tax in add'n to the other tax listed.

Business class coding confusion

Hello,

So sorry but I'm still a bit confused (Just researched the 90K strategy for about 4 hours for the first time last night). When I'm on Kayak trying to look at business class flights, ALL of my results that are in the $1900 threshold come up as first class or mixed. Am I doing something wrong?

I've found some options that are at $1900 (LAX-ROC) but later discover they're 1st and not biz.

Thank you!

You should use Expedia - checked the box to limit it to your airline, and business class. What Expedia pulls up under this limitation, regardless what class it is displayed in the itinerary, is considered business class ticket by Expedia.

Kayak may help you to broaden the seach - However, it is Expedia TYN uses, and goes by. Instead of wasting time on Kayak, you should just search on Expedia by restrict your search criteria. You dont have much time to waste.
