CC Advice
I have a Marriott Visa Signature card that I really don't use. Their awards are really not good. I would like to transfer to a different card without my credit being pulled. I am looking for an airlines card. I currently have AA MC/VISA as well as Amex Plat and Amex Starwood Biz/Personal. Any recommendations on what I could get? The card is issued by Chase

What is it you are trying to achieve? For me, the SPG Amex is my primary card and my Citi AA MC is my backup. I just got a Diners MC to use as a backup to my backup (when I max out my annual mileage cap on the Citi MC,) But my priorities are to earn as many SPG points as possible, with everything else going to AA miles. Your goals may be different.

I am trying to get rid of the Marriott card and transfer to another card issued by Chase b/c I'd rather not have my credit pulled. As far as everything else, I charge as much as possible on the SPG cards and use my AA cards when amex is not accepted.
Can you earn AA miles directly into your AA account from the Diners club MC?

With Diners you can transfer points to AA miles at a 1:1 ratio...although there is a .1% handling fee ($.95 per 1000 miles).

Conventional wisdom over at fatwallet is that Chase does a hard pull for everything, even credit limit increase requests. I don't know if you could avoid it.
I like the Chase Professional for cash back at 3% for restaurants, office supply and hardware stores, 1% everywhere else. It is my primary card for the 3% catagories and backup for where my Amex Blue is not accepted. A bonus is that it does not report on your personal credit report, and it came with a nice 15 month 0% purchase deal.
I would recommend browsing the Chase website (along with fatwallet and other CC sites), find a card you like, and call the number on your current card and see if they will convert.

Thanks for your response. I'll look into this possibilities. I see Chase offers BA/UNITED cards for a fee. I am more intrigued by the Diners MC card when I hit the 100K per card threshold with the Citi AA cards.
