more than one First USA UAL Visa is possible
I just received my second UAL Platinum Visa card from First USA today. Im off to earn a second bonus of 15,000 miles!!!!

My guess is FirstUsa is quite concerned about the impact that the likely UA bankruptcy filing will have on the amount of business charged to their cards. I have real doubts that Mileage Plus will be anything near what it is today in a year or so.
