Arrival+ Account closure
Had a weird experience, curious if anybody has gone through something similar and what the best way to proceed is.
I called in back in November requesting a replacement arrival+ card since I'd lost my card. Operators said it was on it's way.
Called in to check the status a few weeks later, the operator tells me they can't send it since my arrival+ account was about to be closed Jan2020. Called in about 5 other times and half the operators told me it was being closed, the other half said the account was fine.
So I transferred credit line from my arrival+ card to my other barclay card to help maintain my credit rating. Jan 2nd my arrival+ is closed by barclay.
I call in to ask why. The Manager tells me it's because I transferred credit from my arrival+ to my other card, which I only did because they told me they were closing my arrival+ card.
All my purchases/behavior was reasonable, I have great credit, and my income is excellent. Has anybody dealt with something similar? Assuming there is nothing I can do, but does anybody have any ideas?

Only thing I can even think of that was remotely weird is when I called in to get a new card sent, I changed the address since we'd just moved. The operator put in the zip wrong, so I had to call back in and go through it again. Maybe it triggered some alert, but other than that no reason for them to close my card.
The phone operators with Barclays are just really clueless. Can't get a straight answer on anything and it appears to be impossible to talk to someone with power to help. Kind of a bummer since I liked using that card.
Probably just going to switch that spending over to the citi double cashback card and convert to thankyoupoints.

No warning letter and the account was active and in good standing. Also, no crazy behavior like paying it off X times a month etc... Just used it like a normal card.
