Indigo credit card from Celtic Bank asked me for my drivers license + social
they asked me for a copy of my drivers license social security card and a copy of a utility i have never heard of this

That's not that unusual a request from a card issuer to a new potential customer, they want to verify your identity. I assume you understand that Celtic Bank is a subprime lender primarily targeting early-stage rebuilders.

Very common request these days. Including asking for tax returns, pay stubs, and some will ask for IRS verification.
