I got the card last year about this time, met the spend requirement for 50K US Air bonus miles in the first month. Must have been $3k or $5K. No more spend since that time. i subsequently got a AA Citi card for another 50K bonus... so I will have the same issue to deal with in a couple of months for the AA Citi card. Still haven't used any AA miles so sitting on about 110K... which I need to go ahead and use.

I'm glad others are having more success, as my annual fee on the Aviator Red just came up, so I called in to see what they could do. After two different calls, and speaking to supervisors, they didn't offer any sort of fee waiver, bonus offer, or even card downgrade, so I ended up canceling the card--clearly, their automated evaluation system wasn't going to give up anything to keep me.
To be fair, my only spend this past year was to get the initial bonus, but this hasn't stopped other issuers from being a lot more proactive at retaining my business. Had it been anywhere else I would have opened a new card first and then transferred the credit line, but their remaining card portfolio is so lackluster I didn't find it worthwhile in the slightest.

Can I call about waving AF before its posted?
Should I tell them AAdvantage devaluation is the reason?
Do you guys receive the 10K Anniversary bonus too? (I don't have that)

So my annual fee has come and gone, with no 15000 mile offer.
I called customer service, and the friendly lady said I wasn't targeted, but offered me 2x points on Gas/Groceries/Utilities instead, and waived the annual fee.
Best of luck to those that get it!

my annual fee was coming up in April. I called into customer service and the rep was able to waive the annual fee as well as apply a spend $1000 within 3 months for 5k points. On top of that, there is the spend $500 in April, May and June offer for another 5k points. The 1k in 3months also applies to the spend $500 in each month from April to June.
Just a data point for you guys

As a data point, I did receive the 15,000 mile offer last year right before my annual fee was posted... but didn't see anything this year. However, I do have one of the cards with the grandfathered 10,000 mile annual bonus.

My newest one that I opened February 2015, received that $2500 for 6 months for 30,000. Been working that one and now they closed my serve. I wish I had the $500 for 15,000. It's so much easier to achieve.

Just received a spend $500 for 3 months and receive 15k points plus the spend value. Nice surpise. This card has been in the back of the sock draw. Will cancel this or the citi card. Citi most likely. Womder if will offer a retention bonus, as renewal due in a couple of months.
