Is the 91 day rule set in stone?

Nope. Time doesn't guarantee anything. 2 people can have entirely different results with 91 days (or even less than 91 days). It's all about one's credit, not X days.

My Dec AOR was 87 days ago for 3 credit pulls for my wife and 2 for me. That was our first AOR too, so no prior batches to December 2013. I'll update tomorrow on how the application day goes.

I know some people that do one credit application per month, and they do fine. If I was a bank, and the application for my credit card was someone's fifth or sixth that day, I'd surely reject it.
they will see inquiries if same bureau, but they will not see numerous newly opened accts

After 88 days, I was successful with my AOR. 5 of 6
