Need help choosing a new program

I currently have 3 cards, which all get heavy use. Amex membership rewards, SW Rapid Rewards Visa and US Bank Travel Perks.

SW Rapid rewards is key for me due to regular travel to Denver from Fort Lauderdale.

I have considered the Capital One Rewards card. Other than the funny ads, I had ignored double miles, no black outs, etc. I like US Bank card I have, but it is hard to imagine the Capital One card is not a ton better. Also, I was looking at the Starwood Preferred Guest Amex, but I do not see the upgrade ver the current membership rewards account, which allows me to move miles to Starwood (although perhaps that does not have the same perks as the APG Amex, like flights besides hotels only).

Does anyone have some decent advice on these other cards?

I'd have to encourage a hard look at the Chase Sapphire Preferred card. You only have one Chase card and, frankly, Ultimate Rewards are very flexible and worthwhile. Just my $.02.

Barclaycard Arrival MC also worth considering. 2x pts on all purchases. Redemption similar to Cap 1, plus 10% back on all redemptions. Plus 40k bonus miles after $1k spend. No forex fee if that's important to you.

I like Sapphire, and also have it and use it, but 2x only on restaurant and qualified travel expenses.

Hope that all helps. Good luck.

which amex card you have? PRG is good for 3x on travel and 2x on gas/groceries so you can rack good points if you want MR points.

I also second sapphire pref. card as you can get 2x for travel/resturants...if you combine it with an ink card, freedome...you can rack some points but as many said its a marathon not a sprint on this hobby. it also depends on what you want to get out of the card..what goals you have in mind?
