Apply 4 Cards today

I'm thinking of doing a mini app-o-rama today.
Here are the 4 cards I think of applying.
1/ BoA Hawaiian Airlines for 35k
2/ BoH Hawaiian Airlines for 35k
3/ Virgin Atlantic American Express Card from Bank of America. 65K
4/ Amex PRG Targeted for 50k

Total: 185K

During the last 2 years I had 3 Credit inquiries. Last one being from CHASE for the AVIOS (100k) on 4/20/12

I'm currently in Kansas.
Question is how many hard pulls on the credit do you think I will be getting?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Personally I'd be worried applying for 2 BofA cards within 30mo period. But that's me. I did however apply for Chase cards ... 2 in the 30 day time period and actually got approved after a phone call, but I think I was risking it a bit.

see what others may reply with here

I would definitely go for the PRG, it's a good deal.

People worry too much about hard credit pulls. They only ding your score by a few points, maybe 3-4. Now, if your score is 722 and you are planning on getting a mortgage soon, you might want to be cautious. But if your score is high or you're not planning on getting a big loan, why sweat it? Even if your credit score goes down 10-15 points, does it really matter, and anyway, it'll come back.

That's three Bank of America/MBNA cards in one day. I've seen people successfully apply for two Bank of America cards at once, but three seems like pushing it.

why not instead do a barclays banks instead of the BOA? less risk....

i think you should be looking up which banks will hit which credit report in your state

details

I just applied and got approved for 5 cards

1/ amex SPG 50k
2/ BoA Hawaiian 35k
3/ BoH Hawaiian 35k
4/ Barclays US Airways 40k
5/ Virgin Atlantic 60k

Virgin Atlantic, BoA, BoH are both using the same agency Credit Services? (bank of america?)

I got instant approval for the AMEX SPG and Virgin Atlantic. I had to call the other 3. They wanted to know why I applied for another BoA Hawaiian and BoH Hawaiin, I just said I need to separate some expense. That's all it took. All approved.

Thanks for providing some details (fact that 3 in 1 day from BofA is possible)...could you provide a credit score range and credit history length so I could compare my likelihood of approval? Many thanks!

Unless I'm missing something, there were 2 from BoA and 1 from BoH.

BoH credit cards are issued by FIA, the financial arm of BoA.
