Question on adding another card holder
My wife and I are both thinking of getting the SPG card for our respective next round of apps. Does anyone know if adding me to her account as a second card holder would possibly hurt my chances of applying for my own SPG card a month or two later?

No, as long as it's just an authorized user not a joint account.

Why would you want to do this if you are both going to have your own cards soon?

Mostly to help meet min spend as quickly as possible. I have upcoming spend that paying with a card in my name would be easier since we have different last names.
Normally we'd do the app rounds at the same time, but I applied for a citi business card a month after our last round.
