List of Best Bonuses Ever?

Is there a list of the best bonus ever offered for each reward credit card in history?
I thought this might be useful to assess current offers.
It would also be good to know how often this kind of mega bonuses are offered.

OK, let the fun begin.

Let me start by casting My first vote goes to 100,000 miles BA -Chase card offer (the 1st offer from 2009 as it was easy spending of $1500 over 3 months).

My second vote would be for the Citibank AA visa: 75,000miles with $1500 spend and the Citibank AA Amex card also with $1500 spend. Since you apply for both cards at once this deal actually becomes 150,000miles with $3000 spend.

Even though it was a mistake, it was amazing for the thousands who got in on it:
AMEX 50k points to add 5 authorized users. Each authorized user needs to make one purchase only to receive the points.
AMEX 50k points to do 15 transactions per month (10k per month).

Those are ridiculously easy, and the adding AU's was basically free 50k points. Not the MOST points/miles for a bonus, but definitely the best points/effort ratio IMO.

Amex Plat 100k
Chase BA 100k
Citi AA 100k
Chase Sapphire 100k (for the 5 minutes it lasted)
CapitalOne 100k

Pretty much, to the best of my knowledge, those are the 5 100k offers I've ever seen.

I dont know of any offers which have been better than those 5

OP (and Mods) I think this is an excellent idea. Perhaps the OP would volunteer to maintain a list in Post #1 of this thread. Might I suggest it be organized like this:

offerer; offer; unique terms; month/year

So, for example:

SPG Amex; 30,000 SPG pts; 10k/20k after $4500 spend; Aug 2011

This could be a useful resource (when it gets reasonably comprehensive) for evaluating the relative worth of a particular offer.

"[AmEx offer number] 6608 gold biz 100k after 2k of spend" -- http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/finance/1110613/ , "updated July 23, 2011." Recent posts in that thread indicate people are now having trouble getting AmEx to apply that code, so this offer may be of historical interest only.

I like this idea as well. Some that have expired that I can think of are as follows:

- WN Chase VISA; 1 RT ticket + $500 Gift Cards; $5000 spend; June 2010
- SPG AMEX; 30,000 SPG pts; 10k/20k after $1000 spend; June 2010 (rec'd 40,000 for business card)
- AA Citi VISA; 100,000 AA miles; 50k/50k after $750/$10,000 spend; July 2010
- LH Barclays MC; 50,000 LH miles; 20k/30k after $2500 spend; Apr 2011

Some of the best deals for some cards are currently available and most are listed in the special credit card offers master thread.

I agree with the those listed so far but I feel the list should be limited to offers that almost anyone can get in on and not just a lucky few that happen to , well, get lucky. And deals that are guaranteed and not just "maybe".

ex: I would not have listed the Chase Sapphire 100k as this was only good for about a day (or was it a weekend) before it was shut down as they realize their mistake. Only those lucky enough to happen to have the time to read certain forums and at a specific time got in on this. I was busy that weekend and by the time I read about it --too late.

Same goes for the Amex 10,000 points for each added user up to 5. Note: I manage to get in on this last night but only after 5 calls and loooong wait times each and everytime. Now some have posted Amex may not even honor the points for those that made it in as it was TARGETED ONLY for people in Argentina, So, this is still not a done deal (but hopefully--fingers crossed).

That's a valid point especially if you're including specially targeted offers, but I think it can also be argued that it would be beneficial to have all highest offers listed even if not available to all to serve as a reference point.

ie. I remember targeted DL AMEX offers of 75k-100k and as such I don't feel too inclined to sign-up under current offers.

Agree because I'd like to see this focus on sign-up bonuses only.

AMEX = 100K Biz Gold

My best card???

AMEX Business Open Gold = 100K Points after $2,000 spend in 3 mo.

Opened 2 of these. One for me, one for mom. There ... 200K Amex points in 1 month. Didn't even have to wait 6-8 weeks. Called them asked for supervisor after just 2 weeks of meeting spend.

I am just an ... for not posting that 4 digit code here when I got it 1 month ago. Forgot sorry. Will check if it still works tomorrow and if it does I'll create a new thread for that promo.
