We will leave this thread open for questions from existing cardholders who applied using offers with the perpetual annual 10k bonus. Otherwise, please post on the ongoing thread on standard offers:
Current Offers: USAirways cards with no annual mileage bonus
Current Links:
30k + 10k anniversary + no annual fee for the first year (now says "Offer expired"); terms and conditions include offer specifics
[NOTE: Barclays is erratically enforcing the restriction "for Preferred members only," especially for those who leave off a membership number on the application. See recent experiences reported in the thread.]
There is a separate thread for a 40k+10k offer with $89 annual fee, no anniversary bonus: USAirways CC special Offer 40K + 10K BT Bonus; AF not waived
Expired Links:
30k at signup, 10k anniversary bonus, 10k with balance transfer, no fee first year - Landing Page (Ended 4/30/14)

Newer 35K Link (click on terms and conditions to see 35K bonus after first purchase, first year fee waived, and 10K anniversary bonus)
1) I applied for this card but got the message
Check your application status by visiting http://www.myapplicationstatus.com/
At Barclays, if you already have an online account, the card can also show up there before you get a notification from them. Obviously, that won't work if you don't yet have an online Barclays account from another card. But if it's not your first US card, you presumably do have an online account already.
2) What's the reconsideration line number?
866-408-4064. Only open M>F, 8am>5pm, Eastern.
3) How long after my first purchase does it take for the bonus miles to post in my account?
Miles for the first-purchase bonus post with the statement showing the initial purchase.
4) For those people who got the targeted offer, how long after spending $750 in each of the 3 months does it take for the bonus miles to post in my account?
Miles posts two months after the end of the promotion period. For example, if your promo was to spend in June, July and August, the 15k bonus would post with October statement.
5) How can I get the anniversary 10K bonus points without paying the annual fee?
The annual bonus posts on the statement date of the month of anniversary. No need to "kick out" a statement. But if you are worried, you can put a few bucks on the card during that cycle thus generate a statement but it is NOT necessary.
AF is billed the last business day of the month of the anniversary (much better than Chase practice which is on the 1st day of the month). You have 60 days to cancel the card for the AF to be reversed. You also can use SM to cancel card and no need to call.
Note: I called to cancel the card (June, 2014), told them it was because the AF was too high, and they waived it. Still got the 10,000 points and the Companion Certs!!

UPDATE: One of Gary's commenters reports that clicking on a 35K link and THEN on the 40K link brings up the full, submittable application.

Anyone have 3 of these cards open currently? I have two open now, wondering if I could get a 3rd without canceling either of the first two. I am nearing 10k anniv bonus on the existing 2 so not interested in canceling before those post as seen some interesting timing differences in pts/fees in past.

Gary at View From the Wing posted an offer which is good as the old offer:

The 2 browser trick was only ever for getting two Citi cards. The idea was that both apps would go through if you used two browsers (but to be honest, I did two apps in one browser with no problem). The two browser thing, itself, has nothing to do w/ consolidating credit pulls. That happened automatically b/c there were two pulls from Citi and the credit bureau consolidated it as one. If you apply for a personal and biz card from the same issuer, in my experience, it always pulls as two and sometimes three and will never consolidate.

I applied for and was approved for a US Airways Premier MC in late November 2012. If I canceled the card next month (need to spend $500 in March to get the 15,000 bonus miles), how soon should I consider applying for the card again in order to maximize its churnability before being taken off the market?

Applied yesterday morning, at my front door this morning, FedEx priority overnight. Not bad.
Just logged into my account to see they charged me $29.99 for a Fast Card Fee...that's not going to fly. Already have to make a dispute.

I think there's a link on the application where you card can be expedited for $29.99. I think the app defaults to that option, so in case you need to know why you were charged. IMHO, it should be set to the standard (free) shipping by default. In any case, I have no experience with that so good luck and hope it works out!

I got rejected yesterday. Applied today for DH and he also got rejected. He has 5 inquiries based on creditkarma. His lastest inquiry was for Amex Gold reward card in Jan. We both applied for NFL card with 40K point bonus last November. Another inquiry for BoA was in early Oct. Chase inquiry for BA card in July. Overall, I don't think he has excess inquiries compared with people on this forum. This is very frustrating.

I'd say no. We're talking about quasi-unofficial applications here that were found by trying random URLs, at least in the 35k case. The 40k application barely works. If you have an approved application, I would try to avoid calling any attention to it, especially given Barclay's tendency to cancel existing cards when you call for reconsideration on new applications.
