1000 Flex Points - easy, fast, free
(this might be a targeted offer)
Have your CC acct# and your Flex Points # available.
Go to FlexPerksPromos.usbank.com.
500 points: register an email address.
250 points: take a 30-second quiz of 5 questions.
==
***250 points: sign in to your US Bank acct online, select "Rewards Center" and click the link for "Ticket Test Drive."
This last one didn't work for me. I don't seen any "Ticket Test Drive" link.
Still 750 free points, in less time than it took me to write this post. ^

I'm still waiting for my east, fast, free 500 points (250 + 250) to post from last quarter.
I think as of today, they have 13 days to post these before they are beyond the 8-week window stated in the previous promo.

My 2k holiday spend bonus and one of the 250 point promotions posted with the February statement. I believe I did another 250 point thing but I do not keep track of small items like that. It's nice if they post, not too much lost if they don't. So far, my experience with US Bank and the FlexPerks program has been pretty good.

Transfer points to no-fee card account
+1, plus the 4,000 points from the $8,000 spend promo. I sent an email to them last week asking for my points, and they have not gotten back to me yet.
These points will take me to the next level of redemption, and I am planning to use them before I close the card before the annual fee hits.
I have a card with no annual fee and my daughter had two cards with annual fees (waived for the first year). I was able to transfer all her points to my flex account and then I closed her cards before the fees hit. While doing this I saw an offer for a new card where the new cardholder gets 10,000 flexpoints after spending $500 and the referrer gets 5,000, so I referred my husband. Once this is done and I transfer his points to my account I'll have 75,000 flexpoints, potentially enough for a $1,499 air ticket (more or less - actually have to earn another 5K points and get a $1,599 ticket). All for little work except buying a bunch of coins to meet spend requirements for bonuses. Any making a bunch of phone calls about why points weren't showing up, etc. Overall not a bad deal though.

Thanks was able to grab it for 2 accts
Still smarting over them not giving me the Pts for my last coin purchases, that was suppose to put me at my rounding off #. 1 card got the bonus pts even thou it was done only by the Coin purchase. My other card so far didnt get the bonus
So every free amount of pts help in that is that much less I need to charge using the Flex CC
seems the only way you get any bonus pts is if you incur a charge. So if you havnet used the CC but are expecting some type of Bonus pts put $1 of gas into your car using the Flex CC , so that you will incur a statement where you will owe them some Money and thusly get the Bonus pts you were due
I originally liked this CC and Bank now I cant wait to use up all the 1000s of pts and CX the card and have nothing to do with them. But I still suggest to friends to get it since theres a 10k sign up promo and that means all they need to do is spend $5k to get to 20k and cash in for a tkt up to $400. I tell them only do it for either gas, groceries or plane tkts since they earn 2 pts per $1
dont know any other way to spend $5k and get a $400 tkt thats like 8% return (most likely the tkt will be below exactly $400 but still a 7.75%+ isnt too shabby)

takes 8 - 10 weeks for redemption!
I'm trying to redeem 5000 points for a statement credit before I cancel the card, but it says in will take 8 to 10 weeks to be applied to my account. Does it really take this long? Its ridiculous that it could take so long to redeem my points.
Please let me know if it takes this long if you've done it lately.

I actually just noticed on my online statement that 500 points were deposited into my account, and I assume it was from that promo. Hope you got yours too

Thanks for pointing that out. (Somehow, I managed to gloss over that sentence multiple times when reading that post.)
I'll have to re-read my account materials on my no-fee card. I don't recall it earning 1 mile for each dollar spent on those particular categories, but apparently reading comprehension isn't one of my strong points!
