A friend was just telling me that this is a backdoor way of boosting the state economy (heh):
1. Tourists fly to Hawaii, either not hearing about or not caring about the quarantine
2. Upon check-in, hotels remind tourists of their legal obligation and charge them for 14 days up front
3. Profit!
I doubt this would happen, but it would be amusing.

Yeah our hiking trails were "packed" today relatively speaking . A state recreation area nearby where we go hiking usually only has a handful of cars in the trailhead ever, today probably had 40-50 cars. I had never seen anything like it there. Everyone looking for something to do and/or get out decided to go hiking today.

Walk down to the front desk and ask there , if not ask the bell boy , if you are willing to pay enough they will find them for you ,

Our local parks, which have nice walking/jogging paths and some wooded areas with trails, have been really busy the past week. I expect it will continue as the weather is warming up more the coming week.

There are people who drove around buying up all the N95 masks, hand sanitizers, etc to sell for a profit. They made a decent profit, but probably at the expense of others who really needed the masks (i.e. medical workers treating COVD-19 patients).

If you really need a mask and can't find one, some say use a scarf or a bandanna as a substitute,

Would be pretty difficult to find one right now, even from a reseller.
Make your own out of a filter such as a vacuum bag.

LA city is closing the parking lots at Venice beach and probably other LA city beaches to keep people away ,
Santa Monica is doing the same ,
Is it that hard to stay home for a few weeks ?

Does not seem like there is anywhere to escape home confinement (assuming your city/county/state/country is not under lockdown). Here's what is out:
- Ski resorts (all closed in CA, OR, UT, CO and presumably Europe)
- Many national parks (including all California parks)
- some Florida beaches
- most California beaches
- All Nevada casinos (no Vegas, baby)
- many major US metro areas (SF, LA, Chicago, NYC)
- Hawaii (14 day in-home quarantine for all arrivals)
- Mexico?

You are the evil genius!
although... I was on a United flight recently and it was pretty empty. Less than 20 passengers on the plane, so I went and sat in the very last row. There were about 15 empty rows in front of me. Peace and quiet.
