Are equipment changes frequent on CM?
Hi all,
i'm about to book a biz flight from PTY to MIA.
Copa has lie-flat seats on 3 of their 8 daily flights on this route.
Would hate to book one of these only to find out on the day i have a standard recliner.
Does CM have a reputation of last minute equipment changes?
MIA is the shortest lie-flat route Copa has, so I'd imagine that if a lie-flat aircraft was pulled out of service on a longer route (e.g. LAX), CM would use a MIA lie-flat to replace it.

Same as with any other airline
Much shorter routes have the MAX9 btw
Same day change to different flight if ~2.5 hours in a barca-lounger does not suit you

I can take comfort knowing there are much shorter lie-flat routes that would likely be first to be sacrificed before PTY-MIA

Keep in mind the 737 max 8 is going to be launched on MIA and IAD routes starting late summer. I have a leg PTY-IAD that had the 737-9 with the Dreams lie flat switched to recliner this week. I could be wrong but I think the max 8 has 16 recliners instead of the Dreams cabin.
