Earning Copa Points

What is the best strategy to earn Copa Points without flying? I'm a US resident, so I can't get a Copa co-branded CC.

You need to give a little bit more for anyone to give a valid piece of advice. Travel patterns? Hotel preferences? Car hire? etc

I mainly travel from Florida to Ecuador. Ideally Tampa to Guayaquil, but those tickets are usually too expensive so I fly out of FLL or MIA instead. As for hotels/car rentals, I don't usually stay at big chains, so I don't have much earning potential in that regard. My CCs are sapphire preferred and SPG. I just found out a good method of getting Copa points after making this post, but I'm not sure if it's the best. Transfer 90k SPG for 270k Marriot points. Then use hotel and air package for 7 night stay plus 120k Copa Miles.
