COPA seating Q in J
Will be flying soon CM 111 PTY-SCL in (according to their website configuration) 737-800 type B with 50" seat pitch. Is that necessary the new sky interior with the "better" business seat?

Yes, if you do get the new version of the 738 you get the better seat. However, as COPA has a limited number of these aircraft, if there is an equipment change, there is a good chance you will get the old style aircraft with the 37" seats.
So, you probably will get the better seat, but just don't build up a whole lot of expectations in case there is a swap. BTW - while I think it is nicer, it really does not make much difference to me.
