fast forward to gold?
So I'm something like 2000 EQMs off from Gold. Flying to EWR next Friday returning Tuesday. The first leg alone would be put me above Gold. Purchased an M fare and a reward ticket for companion. The lady at the Elite desk said sometimes Onepass will fast forward you if your close/traveling/your itinerary would get you there. So she transfered me to Onepass and the guy was very stern on "no, we cannot do that." Has anyone had a different experience/have any tips regarding this?
Thanks
Thanks

Call back. You will get another person and they may do it for you.

call back...
if you call back you may get an agent to bump you up to gold... but your companion will NOT get an upgrade if she is on a reward ticket.
So YOU would have a better shot at the upgrade as a GOLD, if you want to sit in F and your wife in Y... good luck with that! LOL!
I have read several times on FT that CO keeps track of this type of "favor", so consider if you want to use one here.
