That is certainly not the information that has been reported so far.

Don't get too excited, that 762 comes and goes from that route. I've seen it pop on and off over the last ten years.

Man I feel old.

Of course the funny thing when you fly B6, is you get the non-arse-numbing seats, the B6 pitch, and essentially the same IFE at no additional charge...

There have been rumors of DL starting to charge for it on domestic flights too.

And now it is officially reported in that same thread that they are up to the 77 channels. I just happened to get that information a couple days before it was posted on FlyerTalk.

Post 44 in that thread has the official confirmation.

Yes, I saw that. That's good news, I suppose, except, of course, that there are still only 2 a/c with this system and all the rest of the 739ER's flying with no IFE at all.

Well, the most important things is that I got the upgrade.

Thanks for the update; I can't wait! This comment should be a thread all on its owny own. I mean, how will CO respond to AA deploying widebodies on LAX/EWR.

There's one B777 a day LAX/MIA; one B763 a day LAX/ORD and one on LAX/DFW; AA is adding, or it may already be added, a B763 on LAX/BOS--one a day, AA222; in June AA114 on LAX/EWR is a B763.
