A week to go and can't wait. Thanks to Cigar, Scott and all at CO. Anyone on CO 303 from EWR?

Just came home to Houston this evening from MSP... as we were taxiing to the gate... saw that one of the CO hangars has flags draped inside... and looks as if it is being made ready for something big...
HUGE american and Texas flag hanging inside... don't think those were there last time I passed...
Not sure if this has anything to do with the DO next weekend... but figured I would report that

You guys are smart! We actually considered tug races! Of course the legal department yelled "NO!" really loud until we gave up.
525 won't be too many people. CO really stepped up and spent some serious coin making this event incredible. If they ever ask me to do it again, I can't imagine how I'd top it. (of course I said that last year)...

The tugs are really needed and I can understand CO's reluctance in letting us use them.
We could do CO a big favor if they'd just let us do high speed taxis in the 733's and 735's though. (I already know what happens if you use the tiller instead of the rudder at high speed). It would take some of the pressure off the sims. There could be brave volunteers like doobierw to sit in the right seat and keep us from damaging anything really valuable, like taxiway signs and lights.
