Getting into f
I'm a non-CO flyer - mainly UAL, AA and AS. I'm interested to take CO to ZIH from SEA and want to know options for a non-CO flyer to get into F class. Miles?trade any certificates like VIP OW's on AA? Thanks

Hardly worth it since most flights from IAH to ZIH are on regional jets. If you cash in miles to upgrade, they only leg you'll be able to take advantage on is SEA - IAH.

Well that's what I thought until I pulled their schedule again and now they have a 737-700 on the IAH-ZIH leg.

Series 1 upgrade reward is 15K miles. You can waitlist for it if the seats are not available when you request the upgrade. If either leg clears you'll be charged the whole amount of miles; no partial refunds for only one segment upgraded. No co-pay required from any fare bucket.
Actually not a horrible use of 15K miles if you really want to sit up front and otherwise have no use for CO miles.
