I like the Terminal E PC but...
I don't buy "lounge of the year". Many of the other lounges on the list beat the PC on food alone.
Along that line, both the Dilmun (BAH) and DCA (DXB) lounges are nice, but I would give the nod to the DCA for the food. (Although, the restroom/shower at Dilmun is fantastic.)
I guess this is a case of the sum total, but I still don't see how a PC can compete on cheese and crackers v. a hot full buffett (DCA) where seating and ambiance is equal.
Actually, I'd even consider the LHR Holidek above the PC just for the layout with the sports deck and the top floor observation area.
YMMV

Uh oh, watch out because I'm sure RNE is about to land on this thread like a sledgehammer.

I seem to remember the IAH E PC winning this a couple of years ago too.
But I agree, while it's a great PC, I have a hard time seeing it as "Lounge of the Year" given some of the competition.

I believe the EWR C-3 club won this award last year. It is certainly a very nice club, but obviously the PP folks did not evaluate the place around 5:30 on a Thursday evening...
The IAH-E club, in my experience, doesn't get quite as crowded as C-3 at EWR (or any of them, for that matter) simply because of the sheer size of the place. I do believe the food options could be expanded somewhat, perhaps in the evenings during the major transatlantic push at EWR some upgraded finger foods could be made available?
The Holideck at LHR is a personal favorite of mine, glad to see it on the list, and I am looking forward to using it when CO moves to T4 later this month.

I would have to rate the QF lounges as superior in all aspects over any US lounge. Food, banks of terminals, showers, business centers, etc.
