Baggage Policy

Does anyone know the policy for Prioity tagged bags when they are placed on an earlier flight then myself? Should they be placed on the correct flight
baggage claim or do we just need to look for them. This has happened to me 3 times in the past few months the most recently at FLL and they were with a pile of other unclaimed bags in a corner, twice at PBI they were in the baggage office, where once the attendant was watching tv!

Are you saying that your bags flew before you did and when you got to baggage claim for the later flight they'd already been pulled off the carousel and were waiting in a corner, meaning you waited for all the bags to come off before realizing your bags were there the whole time? I don't think there's any difference in handling such bags vs. ones that don't have priority tags.

That happend to me ariving in OKC a couple of months ago.
My bag went on an earlier flight. After waiting through the whole carosel to empty an annoucnment is made for myself and another person to come to baggage office, where are bags are sitting in a corner...
Could have made that announcement on arrival making it faster and savingme 40 minutes. Now I will walk by and check if I know there are earlier flights.

Ciao,
FH

Yes that is exactly what I mean. I waited until all of the bags from my flight were off, about 30 minutes.
