Confirmed standby for codeshares?
Hey all -
Kinda new to the CO world and had a quick question: Is it permitted to go confirmed standby for a NW operated flight that was purchased on CO ticket stock?
Scenario is this: bought a CO tix that on a NW operated flight. I'd like to go confirmed standby (no status makes this my only reasonable option) on flights operated by CO.
I tried calling the general member line and was told this was a no-go, however, as my experience on UA has taught me, it have just been an uninformed rep giving me bad info.
Can anyone confirm or deny?
Thanks!

I'm almost certain that the confirmed standby option is for CO metal only. In this case it appears that the "wrong" answer for you is actually the correct one for the company. Sorry.
