I do not remember hearing of this question at the DO...We should have brought it up since most of the time the GA never even looks down at the list, your BP, or the monitor.
I like Aunt Mames suggestion and will try it again. I did try this a few months ago (once) at EWR and the GA there still seemed to have blown me off without checking the computer or anything. But that is EWR and expected, I will try again elsewhere. That day I did not get the U/G so on the GAs behalf maybe she memorized the Elites names who had been UG. Not likely but I will give them the benefit of the doubt today.
Good Advice as usual Aunt Mame. Many Thanks.

I usually wait for the gate reader, but when i feel i have a good UG chance I will occasionally ask.
I always ask the agent if they can check to see If I have a new seat assignment. then once they check you can ask more questions such as verifying if you're on the UG list, or if FC is already checked in full.

NO WAY. on CO's AC (except for the 735) bulkhead seats are far better than on DL, US and NW. 1A is probably the best seat in FC unless you are a giant.

I dont like the bulkheads cause I cant keep my laptop bag in my feet and my carryon is somewhere behind me due to all the junk that crew stows in the first overhead bin.

I asked both GA's if I had cleared the list and they verified that I had not.
The broader problem (as others have rightly pointed out) is that GAs dont scan BPs most of the time. And if I upgraded after I boarded the flight, they would gladly give away my occupied seat to another pax and shrug the issue off their shoulders and on to the pax to sort it out. At the time when there is a long line in the aisle and most of the overhead bins are full to move your carryons.
As someone who logs 100K miles in a year on business travel, I am just amazed that CO has not sorted this glitch in their practice.

The "no First Class seat left behind" issue was discussed at the second OnePass session at the DO.

It is up to the passenger to report anomolies such as an upgrade not given to a pax, or empty F seats.
If you've been upgraded and you didn't get the upgrade, request compensation.
