Huh, I missed that portion of the description. The ones on display at the DO looked either new or if refurbished, were in super condition.

Mine is used, but in good shape. The only bad part was the tape they used to tape down the top covers for shipping took some paint off. But it's not too bad.

Time for another bait and switch complain thread? ;)

I picked up my cart a couple of weeks ago at DTW. I was impressed by the size of the CO Cargo ops at DTW.

Mine is used, manufactured in 1998, but in good condition. I'm glad it's used, makes it interesting.

Perhaps I should have said condition is poor/fair. The aluminum frame is all dinged and scratched/marked from being slammed in and out of its spot in the galley. The grey sides are also gouged in many places. All of the 'insides' are there however. It is definitely a conversation piece.
This was a donation, however.

I will say that picking it up was an experience. It was in a large yellow box and CO ops in TPA sent it over to LGS Skychefs. They called me wondering what to do with it:). After I explained, they were happy to keep it a few weeks. I picked it up late in the day when the kitchen and packaging lines were closed, and they had it stored behind 4 doors and 2 cages, so I got to see the entire facility, with cages and areas for each airline that they service in TPA. I would have like to have seen it in operation. It weighs 90 pounds so "Juan" wheeled it down an outside ramp and we both hauled it into a Rav4 I has just rented next door at National.

A "DO" is a FlyerTalk get together, either formal - like the CO sponsored IAH event in September, or informal (sometimes called mini DO) - an organized gathering of FlyerTalkers at a specific location. Not sure where the term DO comes from - but it could simply mean let's DO it - like let's get together.

Dad got the FC seats...have seen pictures but not sat in them..... One concern is he has them at his hanger at an airport in Houston and I am worried that the leather will get messed up. He says he is covering but the Houston humidity cant be good on them I would think...

They had the annual Halloween party there any everyone loved them.... I will try to get pics and post when I go home for Thanksgiving
