I bid a little on the carpets and bar carts, but didn't come close to winning them.

I heard bar carts went for 350-450 each, while the carpets were nearing 200

My wife, CMEFlyer, bought a bar cart for 360. It will be shiped to the airport of our choice(TPA) free, for pickup. We plan on using it on the lanai by the pool.

I'm trying to think of anywhere you could actually use the blue carpets without people around you wondering if you had gone completely nutso.

Nice use of the cart by the pool tho

I got the 8 piece china set signed by the Chefs. As a chef myself it is a great collection although I will be emailing Sandra to see if she can help me with a few of the names.

Hopefully next year there will be more bar carts as I last out to someone on that. BTW, to everyone that got the carts congratulations! Also hopefully there is a set of glassware in next years auction to complete the collection.

Overall some great items to bid on and a great cause.

Too bad I didn't stick around. I was going to completely redesign my room too! Put the EliteAccess carpet out my front door, then walk in to find the 757 first class seats as my sofa and have the cart next to the seats with some snacks and sodas in it.

I'm curious as to what everything finally went for. I wanted to bid for stuff, but by the time I got there, it was well beyond what I was willing to pay.

wow, motoart is pretty awesome!
Sadly, I'm not one to pay those prices....but it might be interesting to try to get out there and buy the parts and make something--I really like the cowling desks and those ideas.

When I left last night the FC seats were over $600. My guest bid on a couple of the posters. (No, not the posters from FT who were there).

Did not hear anything so I guess she did not win. She didn't win at Texas Hold 'Em either....

I'd actually like to know what Cigarman is going to do with HIS set of seats given to him by Larry and CO.

I got:

7. Signed CO dishware, autographed by CO chefs (1 of 4 available sets) - $35
9 pieces one complete set - the five larger pieces are signed. There is a set of 5 card sheets which gives data on each of the 5 chefs - so I think I can correspond to the handwriting.

8. Continental Dishware, set of 4 (1 of 2 available sets) - $120 This is 28 total pieces - 4 sets of 7 items. Does not include a cup and saucer with each of the 4 place settings - the set of 4 cups and saucers was a separate bid item.

This is a real neat set - includes the oblong veggie dish, plate, salad bowl, bread plate, desert plate, nut bowl, small sauce/ketchup bowl. And these are scaled differently than normal home dinnerware.

Just back - these are in the dishwasher right now.

Thanks much to the CO staff for packing these for me. I was going to orginally have CO ship to DCA - but since the box would fit in the overhead - I carried on board and checked my bag.
